An annual Chicago eventThe fifty-first annual Chicago Air & Water show will be happening this weekend at North Ave. Beach, 1600 Lake Shore Dr. Events will take place Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Heard but not seen
As I write this piece, I can hear planes flying overhead practicing for this weekend. I hear the
sound of the planes, but I'm always too late to actually see them coming (or going)! That's why it's great to watch them fly above the city skyline and across the Lake Michigan horizon.Thunderbirds to perform
