The new attraction at Navy Pier is a 10-minute balloon ride 350 feet in the air. The balloon's gondola can carry up to 17 people at a time. Those 10-minute panoramic views will cost you though. Tickets for adults are $25 each and $15 each for children 12 and under. For the big spender, "Speed Line" tickets are available for an additional $5 peer ticket ($30 for adults; $20 for children). The Speed Line ticket shortens your wait time, according to the balloon ride's Web site.
The balloon ride was very active yesterday, even though the fog was still fairly heavy into the late afternoon when these pictures were taken. To make photos larger, just click on them.
