Great Eats in Chicago: Sweet Maple Cafe

Everyone is Family Here
When you walk through the door of Sweet Maple Cafe for the first time, you're greeted warmly. Upon subsequent visits, you're greeted like family. This cozy spot at 1339 W. Taylor St. has been serving great breakfasts (lunch and brunch too) since 1999.

Favorite Family Recipes
Proprietor Laurene Hynson, has created a wonderful family-friendly restaurant in the heart of Chicago's Little Italy. Hynson has created her menu using some of her family's favorite recipes, including her mother's French toast. I can recommend just about everything on the breakfast menu, but I have one piece of advice for first-time diners: get the sweet milk biscuits.

If you're looking for a neighborhood restaurant to call your own, Sweet Maple Cafe just might be the place.

  2. This is my all time favorite brunch spot. I've brought all of my out of town guests here and only share my secret with the best of friends! You can even run into Alderman Fioretti here as it is in his ward.
