Chicago Code, for those of you new to this blog, is the new police drama from creator Shawn Ryan (
The Shield), about Chicago's top cops fighting crime and corruption. Shot on location in Chicago, the series stars Jennifer Beals (
Flashdance) as the city's first female superintendent, in charge of a 10,000-member police force. Costarring with Beals is Jason Clarke as Beals's ex-partner and Chicago police department veteran.
