According to an article in today’s ChicagoBusiness.com, Jewel-Osco’s credit card database was breached. At this time, Jewel-Osco does not think credit card information has been compromised.
“The time frame in question may have begun June 22 at the earliest and ended July 17 at the latest, according to Jewel-Osco's owner, a group of firms that includes Cerberus Capital Management, Kimco Realty Corp. and Klaff Realty.”
