Join Chicago Symphonic Winds for Storytime with Sousa, an interactive musical experience combining the art of narrative with music to create a multi-sensory storytelling concert for kids. Using a narrator to read excerpts from a children’s book on the life of John Philip Sousa, the ensemble will complement the storyline with well-known American wind band favorites in the style of a traditional Sousa concert.
Admission for this concert is free.
This program is presented as part of the Chicago Park District's Night Out in the Parks with the support of Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
