Donna's Cafe, was featured in this week's
Chicago Journal. Located at 1255 S. State St., the cafe is the dream of Donna Adams, a retired Chicago police officer and her business partner Bob Oliver. Here at South Loop Connection we've followed

Stephen, great news - we passed our health inspection on Friday! We'll be getting our business license and then "soft" opening sometime this week. We're now planning a grand opening for April 1. We believe no one should fool around with bad coffee or espresso. We're serious about changing the world one (tasty) cup at a time. :)

ReplyDeleteI was really excited about Donna's Cafe since it's so close to me, but I've heard not great things about their customer service (rolling their eyes when a customer asks for decaf and acting put out that they then have to make a pot of coffee for them, etc.) so I don't know that they will be getting my business. You'd think a new business would want to serve their customers, but I guess that's not the way they roll.
