Chicago’s Crazy Weather: It's Never Dull!

Friday was supposed to be a record-breaking hot day. We didn’t set any high-temperature records, but we did have some high winds, rain, and fast-moving clouds over the lake and city. Check out some of the photographs and the video below.

Signs along 16th and Prairie Ave. were knocked down by the wind.

Around the South Loop

Progress at the new Firestone service center,  at S. Wabash and 16th, seems to have picked up.

True Rock Ministries, 16th and S. Wabash,  is having a "Harvest Community Day" on October 23, 2010.

When you look south on Michigan Ave. near 16th St., it's hard to believe the Marathon was just yesterday; the city did a great job cleaning up.
