Chicago Public Schools Closed Wednesday; Airports Shutdown

Well, it was predicted and it looks like the predictions of severe winter weather for Chicago and the surrounding areas has come true. O'Hare International Airport canceled over 1,300 flights by this Tuesday afternoon. At Midway operations have ceased in the face of the storm that is bearing down on Chicago.

The Chicago Public Schools announced there will be no classes Wednesday. Schools shutdown, this according to Crain's Chicago. Click here for more information.

Around the South Loop

A lot has been going on in the South Loop. Most recently the road work on State St. and now S. Indiana Ave. The work on S. Indiana is expected to continue until November 14. Repair work on S. Indiana is a long time coming for some of us.

Parking is tough enough in the South Loop.
