Metropolitan Veterinary Center, 1556 S. Michigan Ave. #100, will host free pictures with Santa on December 6, 2014 from 2 – 6p.m. Each participant with get a free 5” x 7” framed photo with Santa. Pets and children welcome.

Last year’s event was a hoot. People brought their pets dressed up as elves and reindeer. We expect this year to be just as much fun.

Daystar Center Accepting Summer Registrations

How will you be spending your summer?  Being outdoors - check.  Summer reading list - check.  Summer travel plans - double check.  Trying new things? Making new friends?  The Daystar Center is now accepting summer registrations for adult drawing, yoga, and guitar classes.

Daystar Center is located at 1550 S. State St.

Located at 1550 S. State, the Daystar Center is a convenient location to enrich your life and enlarge your social circle.  Drawing classes help you get in touch with your creative side.  Yoga classes help you get centered and fit.  Guitar classes help you pick up a new skill or rekindle one you haven’t done since college.  If guitar doesn’t interest you, private lessons for many different instruments are also available.
