According to The Chicago Sun-Times, two men, one woman are in custody for a mugging that took place Thursday morning in the South Loop. Thursday's mugging was one of a series of recent robberies in the area.The three suspects were arrested in different locations after fleeing the scene of the crime. Police had the license plate of the car they used, plus good physical descriptions of the three.
Robbery victims were not injured or badly hurt, but were knocked to the ground and robbed, several in broad daylight.
UPDATE: Three people have been charged in the recent strong-arm crimes in the South Loop according to a post at the Chicago Tribune Web site Friday at 8:51 p.m.
