The Greater South Loop Association holiday party is this month’s “Neighbor’s Night Out.” Celebrate the holidays with your friends and neighbors at Square One, 14th and S. Michigan from 6- 9 p.m. Square One is the South Loop’s “newest neighborhood nightspot.” It’s been favorably reviewed in TimeOut Chicago, Grub Street Chicago, and RedEye.
Cost is $20 per person for appetizers and select cocktails. The GSLA requests that you bring a non-perishable food item or monetary donation to help support the South Loop Community Church Food Pantry.
The SLCC Food Pantry helps provide good, nourishing food to those in need in the South Loop. The food pantry is open every Saturday 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
The GSLA is a A 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community association comprised of an alliance of residents focused on the overarching mission to maintain and improve the South Loop as a vibrant and diverse, inclusive community. One of the ways the GSLA achieves this mission is through its regular event calendar and neighborhood streetfest, the Bash on Wabash, to bring South Loop neighbor’s together.
