Tornado in the South Loop?

Big, Bang, Boom!
You heard the sirens, had your TV interupted with tornado warnings, but did a tornado really touch down in Chicago? The wind was blowing (nothing new if you live in Chicago), thunder was booming, and lightning was lighting up the sky, but I don't think the tornado made it to the South Loop.
